It's funny, back in the 80s when I first had backpacks, this wasn't a style. I remember OP being a thing, corduroy was a thing, especially green corduroy and in pants, sling bags didn't exist in a context I remember, but somehow this encapsulates all the things I do remember from that era. It's really fun.The sling itself is pretty spacious, large. Construction, the bag is floppy and comfortable. Feels sturdy enough that it'll last a good while, though not so much that it's a forever bag. Compartments are pretty interesting. I love the inclusion of the hidden pocket, but less so the strap pocket (kind of weirdly placed and wish I could reposition it). The strap *is* adjustable and can clip to either the left or right based on your side preference.I rather love this bag. I think with the shape it's best use really is something like a daypack for an outdoor outing/festival (as mentioned). It's really not sturdy enough that I'd want to pack it with electronics, and organization is a bit on the odd side, but you could definitely pack like, kids stuff, snacks, a bottle, glasses, change of clothes without issue. Given how floppy and comfortable it is I could see a practical use for cycling with the aforementioned. It secures pretty well. Great bag if you have a use case in this range.
